Anlov Record

This one is one I’ve been excited for.

The new chapter is out.

I wanted to do something absurd and make one of the most infamous human beings in the world canon to these stories. There were challenges. Humans, from Earth, as we ourselves exist, do not exist in my story. The Anlov are virtually identical to humans, and it’s reasonable to call them humans. But Humans, capital H, from Earth, are not present. The humans in Star Wars don’t have any connection to Earth.

Then how do I make a Human from Earth become part of the story? I think I found a decent solution.

I have been following my boy DarkSydePhil for years. Fascinating person. I could never write a character so complex. I can only imitate great natural art. And imitation always pales compared to the source. This chapter, if I wanted it to be truly accurate would be easily over 10,000 words long, less to the point, more meandering, and thousands of times more idiotic.

But my opinion regarding him in relation to Humanity does come from an honest place in my heart. I confess that I wrote my most intense version of my thoughts in this chapter. However, if you force yourself to step back and look back at the BIG PICTURE, if you look at things IN KAHHHNTEXT, what other conclusion can you make?

Regarding Phil himself though, I’m a fan, what can I say? Many authors included historical figures for their stand-in to encounter. How is this any different? DSP received his perfect fate in this. Some Detractors want his fate to be one of brutal violence. Others want silent oblivion. Some want the most absurd, that he somehow mutates into a decent person. Now THAT’s science fiction. But I figured there were few greater fates than DSP getting laughed at by aliens.
